For the first time, Alex’s Wish is excited to be collaborating with Duchenne UK on their Duchenne Dash. We are putting together a team of our own this year, with funds raised going directly to Alex’s Wish to help us further our mission.
What you need to know about the Duchenne Dash 2026
- When: Friday 8th May – Sunday 10th May 2026
- Distance: 300km in 24 hours
- Fundraising target: £4,200
The Dash will start from the prestigious Herne Hill Velodrome in Southeast London. The total cycle ride is 300km and is split into two stages – London to Newhaven: 100km and Dieppe to Paris: 200km. The Dash will finish in central Paris, around the Eiffel Tower area.

Join us for a charity challenge in the Hope Valley!
“Three Hills and a Castle” walk – a 13-mile route with serious elevation gain, big views, and a well-earned finish at the pub on Friday 5th June.
We’ll be guiding the group, so you can focus on enjoying the challenge, the scenery, and the camaraderie. It will be tough, fun, and incredibly rewarding – and we’ll top it off with a big dinner and drinks at the end
